For many years VFW Post 9954 has supported the Russel Moon Scholarship program, providing a stipend for a Central High School student. This year and from now on, the VFW will sponsor the Horace E. Meyers Scholarship program. This year’s recipient of the award has already been chosen and the award will be presented in the near future by VFW officers at a Central High School awards assembly.
