Two women who graduated from Central High School in 1983 were also in the Liberty University Class of 2016.

Laura Patterson-Gaston, of Blackstone, received a Master of Arts in Health and Human Services Counseling: Addiction and Recovery from Liberty University on Saturday, May 14. She is the daughter of Ilona Patterson of Blackstone.

At the same time, Roxanne Logan of Kenbridge received her Master of Arts in Health and Human Services Counseling: Executive Leadership from Liberty. She is the daughter of James and Gladys Logan of Kenbridge.
