County students planning to attend college and enter law enforcement or a related field are being urged to apply for the Lunenburg County Chamber of Commerce’s scholarship in memory of the late Sheriff Wesley D. (PeeWee) Adams.

The $500 Wesley D. (PeeWee) Adams Memorial Scholarship Fund is given one time to an applicant, said Casey S. Adams, his son and a chamber member.

Applications can be picked up from Kenbridge Supply Company, 311 S. Broad St., Kenbridge.

They can also be downloaded at www.lunenburgchamber.org. Applications are due by Monday, June 20.
