On Monday night, Lunenburg County residents and the surrounding area got to catch a glimpse of a rare strawberry moon. The full pinkish-red moon hasn’t appeared since June 1967. A full moon on a summer solstice is rare in itself, however the strawberry moon is not likely to return again until June 2062.
