Upper End Sunday School Union held Vacation Bible School during the week of June 6-10, beginning each evening at 7. The Theme was “F_A_I_T_H BOOK.” The average attendance was 77 students with ages ranging from 3-98. Bible lessons, art and crafts classes and snacks were offered each evening. Reginald Davis taught music classes for all ages. Directors were the Rev. Patricia Barnette and Deaconess Thelma Craig assisted by the Union President Deacon Haywood Williams. VBS was held at the New Grove Baptist Church in Kenbridge.
