Massage therapy will be taught this year by Southside Virginia Community College Workforce at the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center in South Boston beginning in October, according to a recent press release by the school.

Students can choose between a six-month or year-long program.

The upcoming 2016 schedule is as follows:

Six-month program beginning Oct. 3, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

One-year program beginning Oct. 3, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5-9:30 p.m.
