The Lunenburg Lightning football teams all suffered losses against Emporia over the weekend.

The varsity Lightning team lost 7-6, the Lightning flag team fell 18-13, the minors Lightning squad lost 24-15 and the junior varsity Lightning team suffered a 23-6 defeat.

The flag and the varsity teams are still seeking playoff bids.

The Lightning teams play their last home games Saturday against Charlotte County with action starting at 4 p.m.
