Engage in GPS adventure

It is, according to the folks at Twin Lakes State Park, the perfect time of year to use GPS units to find caches, or containers, in the woods. Geocaching is a “great way” to get out and explore the park’s beauty while finding hidden treasure.
GPS units will be provided, but participants are asked to bring some SWAG — “Stuff We All Get” — of their own. This would include trade items, normally small trinkets like stickers or key chains, left in caches by geocachers.
The one-hour adventure starts at 11 a.m. Saturday at the park, 788 Twin Lakes Road, Green Bay. Call (434) 392-3435 or email TwinLakes@dcr.virginia.gov for more information.
