Blues band celebrates Reese’s life

The Lunenburg community celebrated the life and legacy of the late Anthony “Tony” McCrayne Reese on Saturday at Kenbridge Town Hall with a live performance by Bobby “BlackHat” Walters and his Blues Band. A large crowd filled the auditorium at town hall, remembering Reese, who loved music and sharing with others through playing the organ in numerous churches across the county. The event was organized by the Lunenburg Charity Fund Inc. and sponsored by local businesses and people. Here, Walters performs live on the town hall stage. See more photos on page 2 and online at
