The remains of a home from which the Crowder family has been displaced due to fire sits on Mecklenburg Street in Victoria. The fire happened Saturday with Victoria and Kenbridge fire and rescue teams responding. The family is staying at a motel with assistance from the Red Cross. The family reportedly lost everything and have two children, 11 months and 7 years old, and another on the way. Everything is needed, including household items and clothes, sizes 12-16 months and 14-16 youth. Donations can be dropped off at 547 Mecklenburg St., Victoria. The fire may have started behind a stove, but the exact cause had not been determined at press time.
