Competition food drive at KES

During November, the entire student body at Kenbridge Elementary School held a canned food collection competition. According to the school, 1,200 cans were collected to benefit the Salvation Army Kenbridge Unit’s annual food box project. The “K.E.S. Gifted Students” delivered and sorted the 1,200 cans, which will be distributed among 190 needy families in the Kenbridge/Dundas area this Christmas season. The KES Gifted Students include, from left, front row, Sarah Coffee, Ivan Hernandez, Tristan Hamm; middle row, Kate Spencer, Olivia Mosses, Robert Hite, Olivia Dunbar, Cassidy Dolchan, Aidan Hadley; back row, David Austin, Hayden Gary, Sabriya Tisdale, Claire Bailey, Mariah Ashworth and Emma Newton.
