The Lunenburg County School Board will meet Monday at 7 p.m. It will immediately enter closed session to discuss several items, with the general session starting at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at Central High School in Room 104.

According to a copy of the board’s proposed agenda, members will use the closed session to discuss the performance of a division employee and consideration of a recommendation for disciplining a student enrolled in the division.

During the open portion of the meeting, Superintendent Charles Berkeley will propose dates for budget hearings and report on the Virginia School Board Association’s (VSBA) annual convention, which several board members attended Nov. 16-18 in Williamsburg. The board will also take action on the VSBA’s Capital Conference and orientation for new members and superintendents.

Public participation is set for near the end of the meeting prior to taking action on any matters discussed in the closed portion of the meeting.
