Geneva G. Powell, 91, of Victoria, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 11, 2016. Geneva was the former owner and operator of the Dutch Street Restaurant and Banquet Hall, Victoria’s 1994 citizen of the year, past president of Ladies auxiliary VFW post 9954, member of Victoria Chamber of Commerce and Victoria Baptist Church. Geneva loved to garden and interior decorating.

She is survived by her son, Larry Powell (Lana); granddaughter, Tracy Soble (Eric); great-grandson, Jake Soble all of Richmond; sister, Corene Knicely and beloved niece Sheila.
