The Central High School art department’s 2017 Calendar is ready.

The calendar features artwork by the students of Charger events from the past. The calendars are available at the Victoria Public Library and Central High School for only $5. This year marks the 25th year of the calendar and the 50th anniversary of Central High School.

The featured works are an “Original Charger Symbol” by Brittany Tomlinson; Mike Gunn dressed as a Charger by Carnelia Davis; basketball star Linda Hawks (Walker) smiling through an injury by Chandler Childress; Class of 1970 officers by Jonathan Clarke; 1967 baseball players celebrating a district win on the bus by Heather Seitzinger; “Seat Belt Convincer 1972” by Anna Bell; “School Car Wash 1976” by Kayla Staples; Al Crymes and his painted car in 1968 by Khalil Watson; “1967 Cheerleaders” by Hailey Bayne; “1972 Homecoming Parade” by Kaylee Williams; “1989 state playoff game against Page County” by Morgan Hall; “Trey Townsend and Anthony Davis” by Ashley Genova; and Kamren Field’s “Johnny Weaver in a 1994 Band Competition.”
