Kenston Forest School basketball update

Kenston Forest School’s (KFS) varsity girls basketball team lost 39-35 Monday in the Virginia Colonial Conference (VCC) tournament quarterfinals against host Brunswick Academy.
The Lady Kavaliers (11-13) are seeded eighth in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division III state tournament and will host Walsingham Academy in the first round on Tuesday.
The KFS varsity boys team lost 68-52 to visiting Brunswick on Feb. 15 in a regular-season game.
The Kavs (3-16) visited Southampton Academy on Tuesday evening in the VCC tournament quarterfinals.
With a win, they travel to play at Richard Bland College on Friday at 6:30 p.m. or 8:15 p.m. in the semifinals. The final is scheduled to take place there Saturday at 2:15 p.m.
The KFS middle school boys basketball team fell 27-15 to Richmond Christian School and defeated Tidewater Academy 21-14 on Friday.
Earlier last week, the Kenston Forest middle school boys edged Brunswick 33-32, and the KFS middle school girls topped Brunswick 23-17.
