Kenneth E. Saunders, son of David R. Saunders Sr. and Aluster Mallory Saunders was born in Hamilton, Bermuda on November 11, 1955. He departed his life on February 28, 2017 in the VCU Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA.

He was a resident of Victoria, VA, where he was a member of the Kenbridge-Victoria Lions Club.  He sponsored Ken’s Walk, a fundraiser where club members and friends walked from Kenbridge to Victoria.

Kenneth was a painter by trade and could fix just about anything.

He attended school for the Blind in Richmond, where he met his wife, Marlene O’Connell.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kimberly, Kendra, KJ, Darius, Ryan and Jacob; grandchildren, Dominic, Jeremiah and Lillie; his father, David Saunders, mother, Dorothy Saunders; sisters, Saundra, Ria, Davana; brother, Scott, Alan, George and Michael and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services were held on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at White Rock AME Zion Church in Alberta, VA.

Brown’s Funeral Service, of Lawrenceville, VA, was in charge of the arrangements.
