The Lunenburg Chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) met March 8 in the Courthouse Market at Lunenburg. Hayden Mark Everett was awarded a medal and certificate as a participant in the JROTC at Chatham High School. Hayden is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mark Everett, of Danville, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Gaulding, of Lunenburg. Hayden’s grandmother, Anne, his mother, Cindy, his sister, Lucy and his aunt, Tammy, are members of the Lunenburg Chapter.
