A car show was held Saturday to raise funds for the family of Tyson James Tharpe, who died suddenly on Monday, March 20. The event was organized by Mike McGee and Mary Lewis, and was held at Victoria’s Railroad Park. There were a total of 23 entries, drawing numerous members of the community. Area businesses donated door prizes for the event. The top winner was Reggie Callis’ vehicle, while people’s choice awards went to Bridgette Ellis and Chris Ellis.
