CHS baseball improves to 6-1

Central High School’s varsity baseball team topped visiting Bluestone High School 9-0 on Thursday for its fifth win in a row.

Malik Foster, Nate Nowlin and Christian Hall contributed two hits apiece for the Chargers, while Nowlin also had three runs scored.

Ethan Hoover pitched a complete game, allowing only four hits and throwing 11 strikeouts.

Central (6-1) visited Goochland High School on Tuesday and hosts Amelia County High School on Thursday at 5 p.m.
