KFS JV baseball routs Richmond Christian

Kenston Forest School’s junior varsity baseball team orchestrated a 17-2 blowout of visiting Richmond Christian School on April 5, led by a great performance on the mound from Noah Phillips.
He pitched five innings, throwing 11 strikeouts and giving up only one hit. He also hit a three-run homer and had six runs batted in.
With the win the Kavaliers improved to 4-2 overall and 3-2 in conference play.
“The team is taking great strides in the right direction each week,” Kenston Forest Athletic Director Bart Bellairs said.
The Kavs hosted the Tidewater Academy Warriors on Tuesday and visit them Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
