KFS holds May Day program

Kenston Forest School (KFS) hosted its annual May Day program Saturday, May 6. “The May Day Court comprised of the KFS seventh graders were presented and the May Day king and queen were announced,” according to a press release from the school. Crowned queen was Shelby Gunn, daughter of Greg and Sabreena Gunn, of Victoria.

Ryan Whitehead, son of Kenny and Lisaa Whitehead, of Crewe, was named king.

Kindergarten student Roy Shepherd, son of John and Lydia Shepherd, of Kenbridge, served as the crown bearer.

Students performed dances, directed by Dawn Wilhelm, KFS music instructor.
