Farm Service Agency (FSA) reminds farmers that in order to remain in compliance with FSA program eligibility requirements and to meet crop insurance requirements, they must file an accurate crop certification report by the applicable deadline. According to a press release, in this area, that deadline is July 15.

“This time of year is extremely busy for the FSA office. In order to avoid long waits and possible late file fees, call today to set up a time to report. If you have not finished planting, you can report what you already have planted and then again when you finish,” officials said. “If you would like a copy of your FSA maps, please contact the office.”

“If you have crop insurance, please report timely so you can review your report for accuracy before submitting your producer print to your insurance agent.”
