Top accelerated readers named at Kenston

Kenston Forest School (KFS) is proud to announce the Top Accelerated Readers (AR) for the fourth quarter.
According to a press release, during the first quarter of school, Dr. Ruth Ann Horn, director of curriculum and instruction, and Paul Zanowski, headmaster, challenged the Lower School students to earn a combined 10,000 AR points by the end of the school year.
“The Lower School students went well beyond the goal of 10,000 points and won the challenge.”
The Lower School Top AR Readers for each grade are, kindergarten, Brooklyn Thomas, 50 points; first grade, Luke Phillips, 93 points; secodn grade, Chance Bragg and Christopher Walker, 158 points each; third grade, David Rimon, 175 Points; fourth grade, Caroline Urban, 259 points; fifth grade, Sadie Henshaw, 577 points; sixth grade, Alex Witty, 987 points; and seventh grade, Walker Green, 295 points. The Lower School Overall Top AR Readers were, fourth place, Walker Green, seventh grade; third place, Mackenzie Harmon, fifth grade; second place, Sadie Henshaw, fifth grade; and first place, Alex Witty, sixth grade.
