DaVida A. Eppes received her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree May 12 from the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University in Winchester.

“She is also the winner of the 2017 United States Public Health Service Excellence in Public Health Pharmacy Award for the school of pharmacy,” according to a press release. “Along with being a pharmacy school graduate, she is a Virginia Commonwealth University and Nottoway High School alumna. DaVida is the daughter of Machelle J. Eppes and the late David E. Eppes, of Burkeville; granddaughter of James and Ruth Jackson, of Lunenburg; and Joseph and Lois Eppes, of Burkeville.
