Cowboy Day unites community

Despite the intense heat Saturday, hundreds of people from across the region — many of whom came from Lunenburg County — flocked to Victoria’s annual Cowboy Day, which saw interactive reenactments, food, cold beverages and fellowship of the community. There’s a lot of hard work that went on behind the scenes by the staff of the Town of Victoria, volunteers and others associated with the annual event, and we thank them all and commend them on a job well done. It’s our hope the event continues to grow, serving and become more and more of an economic driver for our community through the tourism the mock shoot outs and other events bring with it.
