For at least two days now, utility crews with the Town of Victoria have been working day and night attempting to repair leaks caused by an abundance of pressure on the town’s water lines as a result of maintenance on one of the town’s water tanks. We thank Town Manager Rodney Newton, his staff and those involved in sustaining, repairing and mending the lines. We appreciate their dedication to our community, their hard work, their long hours of standing and working in the rain and their passion for wanting to help others through their service. The good folks who have been toiling on these water lines and the overall system are hardworking, dedicated employees of the Town of Victoria — and we are proud of them.
