Mrs. Shirley Lynn Schwartz, age 61, of South Hill, died Saturday Sept. 16, 2017 in her home. She was a computer data base administrator for the law firm of Hunton & Williams. She is survived by her husband, Frederick A. “Rick” Schwartz of South Hill; her two daughters: Renay Carns and her husband Tim of Jacksonville, FL and Tracy Abruzere and her husband Damon of Orlando, FL; her two sons: Christopher Schwartz of South Hill and Joshua Schwartz and his wife Jennifer of Saratoga, CA; her four sisters: Sandra Barnes of San Diego, CA; Shelley Benz of Elizabeth, CO; Sharon Benz of Oregon and Sheila Benz of Englewood, CA; her two granddaughters: Alexis Schwartz and Sophia Abruzere; her three grandsons: Jalen Abruzere, Hunter Carns and Hayden Carns and her loving nieces and nephews: Julie Barnes, Mitchel Barnes, Heather Newbrough and Melissa Belanger. Mrs. Schwartz was predeceased by her sister, Susan Benz. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 30th at 11 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Meherrin, VA with interment in the church cemetery.
