The Kenston Forest School varsity football team held a 14-6 halftime lead against visiting Grace Christian School on Friday night when a blown transformer left one side of the field dark, forcing postponement of the second half to another date, Kavaliers Head Coach Tom Inge reported.

He said they will try to find a date to finish the game in the future.

The Kavs are seeking their first win of the 2017 season after opening with losses to Brunswick Academy, the Hampton Roads Generals and Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Catholic School.

Kenston Forest (0-3) hosts Quantico Middle/High School next Friday at 7 p.m.
