The Lunenburg County Farm Service Agency would like to remind owners and producers to watch their mailbox for the county office Committee Election Ballot starting early next month.  The election will be held in LAA4, which consists of the Eastern part of Lunenburg.  The candidates are Pamela Barnes Wilkinson and George Purcell White.

The elected candidate will serve as a County Committee member for a 3-year term beginning January 1, 2018.  Eligible candidates participate or cooperate in FSA programs, are of legal voting age, and reside in the LAA in which the election is being held.

Ballots will be mailed to eligible voters beginning November 6, 2017.  The ballots must be postmarked or returned to the Charlotte/Lunenburg County FSA Office at 250 LeGrande Ave., Suite D, Charlotte CH, VA 23923 no later than December 4, 2017.  Ballots will be tabulated on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. in the Charlotte/Lunenburg County Office conference room.  The public is invited to attend.
