A relief truck loaded with donated nonperishable items supplied by members of St. Matthew’s Baptist Church in Kenbridge has left for Lynchburg destined for Puerto Rico, according to a news release from the church. The release cited that churches, individuals and businesses from Lunenburg, Brunswick, Mecklenburag, Prince Edward, Dinwiddie and Nottoway donated supplies. The relief effort by St. Matthew’s started at the end of September to aid those affected by recent hurricanes or natural disasters.
