Sorority sponsors financial fitness workshop

The Kappa Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated recently sponsored a “Financial Fitness Workshop” entitled “What’s In Your Wallet?—The Smart Way to Spend Money” which was held at First Baptist Church in Victoria. The workshop was aimed to address one of the five Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Program Targets—“Family Strengthening Through Fiscal Responsibility.” Topics included “Meditation and Money” which was presented by Dr. Allie Yarbrough; “Do You Really Want To Do That” which was presented by Ms. Megan Clark, Esq.; “Budgeting” which was presented by Mrs. Dana Ratliffe-Walker and Mrs. Elvira Ford; “Ways to Save” presented by Ms. Stacie Pennington; and “Available Financial Resources” presented by Ms. Avis Gresby. After a Question and Answer session, refreshments were served.
