Seven Lunenburg Middle School youth attended the 4-H FFA Youth Leadership Summit at South West 4-H Educational Center in Abingdon, the weekend of Dec. 1-3. At the Summit, youth learned about livestock judging, agriculture advocacy, and leadership along with many other agriculture related topics. The team of Charlotte Richmond, Selah Spence, Olivia Dunbar and Presley Pulliam placed third in the swine judging portion of the competition that was held on Sunday. There were around 60 youth and 20 adults in attendance for the Summit. Everyone in attendance had a great time and the youth are looking forward to getting more experience in livestock judging.
