A fundraiser dinner to be held at the Victoria Fire & Rescue Station No. 2 is set to have chili, baked potatoes and opportunities for community members to support the department.

Fire & Rescue Chief Rodney Newton said the event will take place Friday from 5-7 p.m.

“There will be chili, baked potatoes with a host of toppings and dessert,” Newton said in an email.

The event will take place at Station No. 2, located at 1421 Main St. in Victoria. Funds raised during the event, Newton said, “will be used for normal daily operations.”

“We invite all to come out for a warm and hearty dinner,” Newton said.
