The public is invited to attend the events that will take place during Holy Week at the Victoria Christian Church, where the Rev. Earl P. Pinchbeck, Jr., is pastor.

Maundy Thursday Service – March 29, at 7:30 pm.: Maundy Thursday is the night of Jesus’ Last Supper with His disciples. We will commemorate the occasion with Holy Communion, scriptures and hymns, along with special music by Cynthia Dean, Liz Hamlett and Rob Williams.

Easter Sunrise Service – April 1, at 6:30 a.m. Resurrection Sunday is the most important day in the Christian year. Jason Lacks will bring the message at this early morning service that was started in the community by the first pastor of the Victoria Christian Church over 100 years ago. Enjoy special music and hymns of celebration. A light breakfast will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Easter Worship Service – The Resurrection Celebration continues at the 11 a.m. worship service, following Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. Guest speaker for the morning worship service will be Dr. Vander Warner, Jr. a well known speaker who was instrumental in founding The Victory Hour, the television ministry at Richmond’s Grove Avenue Baptist that continues today.
