Ralph Bullock

Ralph Bullock was born to Douglas and Ada Yeatts Bullock on the 26th day of December 1929 in Fair Bluff, North Carolina. Ralph was the youngest of 7 children.
From the first day of his life to his last, Ralph was a hardworking selfless individual who put others before himself.
Ralph worked as an auto mechanic in Wilmington, North Carolina until he joined the United States Army in November 1951. He proudly served in France during World War II, and received an honorable discharge. He later relocated to Kenbridge, Virginia where he later married, Eva Emogene Taylor; to this union they were blessed with four children. Ralph worked at Commonwealth Tobacco Co. in Kenbridge, Virginia for 25 years where he retired.
Ralph was ordained as a Deacon on the 25th day of October 2016 at Flat Rock Baptist Church, Kenbridge, Virginia.
After a long and fruitful time on earth, Ralph departed this life, amongst his family, on the 29th of April 2018 at his home in Kenbridge, Virginia.
Surviving to cherish his memory, his wife Jean, children; son, Ralph Renardo Bullock (Carolyn), daughters, Bridgett Yvette Bullock, MarQuetta Denise Jefferson (Harvey), and Trina Michelle Bridgeforth (Azail); grandchildren, Marc Nathaniel Bullock, Quintonia William Watson, Jermod Le’Quay Jefferson, Adrian Renardo Bullock, Ashley Nicole Bullock, Jatil Arereial Jefferson Turner (Yahaad), Alexis Ja’nae Bridgeforth, Avery Jerome Bridgeforth, Aaryn Michael Bridgeforth, great-grandchildren; Tyriq Zameer William Watson, and Amir Isaiah Watson; one sister, Alease Hill, sister-in-law, Mozelle Parker (Fletcher), brother-in-law Rev. Virgil Taylor (India), nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 5 at Flat Rock Baptist Church, Kenbridge, with interment in the church cemetery. Services by the Rev. Dr. Herman Lundy, pastor.
