At its May meeting, the Delta Alpha Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International inducted four new members. From left, Candice Hite Barnette, of Kenbridge, who teaches in Nottoway County; Casey Wilson Jackson of South Hill, principal at Victoria Elementary School; Ashley Duncan-Staylor of Chesterfield, who teaches in Nottoway County and Devinne N. Baldwin of Kenbridge, who teaches in Lunenburg County. The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is an organization of key women educators who have been recognized by their peers for their excellence and professionalism. Delta Alpha Chapter is composed primarily of women who live and/or work in the Southside Virginia counties of Lunenburg, Brunswick, and Nottoway. We commend these new members for their excellence and professionalism in education and are grateful they are helping to lead our youth along the path of success.
