BRICKLAND’S 200TH ANNIVERSARY: PART TWO EVENT, at 6877 Brickland Road, Kenbridge. From 1-5 p.m., the Lunenburg County Historical Society will host a house tour, with a special garden tour by Dawn Conrad at 2 p.m. and commentary on Brickland’s architecture by Adam Erby at 3 p.m. Admission taken at the door. From 5-9 p.m., the Southern Virginia Food Hub will sponsor an open-air meal on Brickland’s grounds, using locally sourced foods. For advance ticket holders only. A TASTE-OF-STATES, 3 p.m. sponsored by members of Mayflower Baptist Church at the Peoples Community Center in Victoria. An afternoon full of fellowship, fun and food sampling.

WOMEN AND MEN’S DAY, 3 p.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Speakers will be the Rev. Dorothy Davis, Penuel, RZUA of Palmer Springs and the Rev. Bernard Page, Fourth Mount Zion Baptist Church, Crewe.

HOMECOMING SERVICE, 11 a.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor C.L. Hobbs bring the message and the senior choir will render the music. Everyone is welcome.

TALENT PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church, Kenbridge sponsored by the senior choir.

4-H CLOVERBUD DAY CAMP, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Victoria Library for ages 5 – 8. Bring a packed lunch each day. Campers will participate in fun activities, crafts and games. CAMP “FUN” TASTIC at different locations across Lunenburg and surrounding counties for the week for ages 5 – 14. Bring a packed lunch each day unless told differently by the 4-H agent. Activities such as swimming, games, putt putt and many more activities. Spots will be limited to 10 campers. Transportation provided by the Lunenburg Extension Office.
