REVIVAL, Union R.Z.U.A. Church, Meredithville. Prayer and Praise service will begin nightly at 7:30 p.m. and worship service at 8 p.m. The public is welcome.
LUNENBURG COMMUNITY CONCERT, 6:40 p.m. at Victoria Baptist Church. VBC’s pianist Stacy Sharpe Branch will provide music until the start of the concert at 7 p.m. Featured performers are Patricia Mahaney, Maurice Ellis, Gabrielle Aubel and Laura Boyett. Together they will provide a program of The Music of Broadway.
TRACTOR PULL The Victoria Fire & Rescue Truck and Tractor Pull is set to take place Saturday. Gates open at 2 p.m., with the pull beginning at 6 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Victoria Fire & Rescue.
SPEAKER, 11 a.m. at Gilfield Baptist Church, Kenbridge, will be the Rev. Jacqueline Morgan. Everyone is welcome to worship with our congregation.
REVIVAL OPENING WORSHIP SERVICE, 3 p.m. at New Grove Baptist Church, Kenbridge with guest preacher the Rev. Violet Oliver, pastor of First Baptist, Victoria. Blackstone Community chorus will provide music.
ANNUAL WOMEN’S DAY, 11 a.m. at Saint Matthew’s Baptist Church. The Rev. Jacqueline Tucker from Hopewell will be the guest speaker. Dorothy’s Angels will render the music. Come worship with us.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, 2 p.m. of the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Everyone is welcome.
CAMP “FUN” TASTIC at different locations across Lunenburg and surrounding counties for the week for ages 5 – 14. Bring a packed lunch each day unless told differently by the 4-H agent. Activities such as swimming, games, putt putt and many more. Spots will be limited to 10 campers. Transportation will be provided from the Lunenburg Extension Office. RIBBON CUTTING, 10 a.m. at Timmy’s Ice Cream Scoops sponsored by the Lunenburg Chamber. All are welcome.
HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at New Grove Baptist Church, Kenbridge, with echoes from home comers, visitors and friends. At noon, pastor, the Rev. Curtis W. Bagley, Jr., will conduct the homecoming morning worship service. Dinner will be served.
