JULY 16-20

REVIVAL SERVICES, 7:15 p.m. at New Grove Baptist Church, Kenbridge. The Rev. Dr. Terry D. Streeter, pastor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Washington, DC will be the guest preacher.

JULY 20 RIBBON CUTTING, 10 a.m. at Timmy’s Ice Cream Scoops sponsored by the Lunenburg Chamber. All are welcome.

JULY 22

HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at New Grove Baptist Church, Kenbridge, with echoes from home comers, visitors and friends. At noon, pastor, the Rev. Curtis W. Bagley, Jr., will conduct the home coming morning worship service. Dinner will be served.

SENIOR USHERS MINISTRY, 3 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, Kenbridge with play entitled “The Gospel Train” presented by the Senior Ushers. Join us for a ride on the Gospel Train.

CHOIR DAY, 3 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church in Chase City. Various church male choruses to attend. Master of Ceremonies will be Deacon Cecil Shell from Dundas. All are welcome.

CHURCH SERVICES, 10 a.m. at Mayflower Baptist Church, 3620 Sneads Store Road, Kenbridge. Guest minister will be the Rev. Adam Freeman.

JULY 23

TASTE OF HERBS, 10-11 a.m. at Victoria Library sponsored by the South Central Master Gardeners. Program presenter is Kathy Cornell. Herbal treats will be available at the end of the program courtesy of the Southside Virginia Herb Society. To register call Linda Logan at (434)738-8135.

MEETING, 6 p.m. of The Lunenburg County Democratic Party Committee at the Senior Citizen’s Building, Victoria. All are welcome.

JULY 23-27

HOMECOMING/ REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 821 Lunenburg Avenue, Victoria. Pastor Violet Oliver will bring the message. Revival will begin Monday night at 7 p.m. with guest preachers, ushers and choirs each night. Everyone is welcome.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL, 5:30 p.m. at Kenbridge United Methodist Church entitled, “Why Do We Call It Christmas”. Closing program will be held Friday, 6 p.m. followed by a birthday party celebration for Jesus. Program is for twoyears- old through sixth grade.
