The time for junior varsity (JV) girls volleyball scrimmages ended Thursday for Central High School, and the Lady Chargers are set to open regular season play Tuesday.

They will visit the JV squad of James River District foe Goochland High School at 5:30 p.m.

Central’s regular season schedule features 18 matches for the 2018 campaign. The Lady Chargers will face their district opponents twice, once at home and once on the road.

Also popping up twice on the schedule is the JV team of William Campbell High School, a member of the Dogwood District and fellow member with Central in the Virginia High School League’s Region 1B.
