Franklin Lee Smith, 91, of Victoria, Va. went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2018. He was the son of the late Harry Lee Smith and Grace Stuart Smith.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 70 years, Oneda Faris Smith; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Betsy Smith and John and Mary Smith; his daughter and son-in-law, Juanita and David Schmidt; 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Franklin was a master television technician and self-taught musician.

He owned and operated Smiths TV and Appliance for over 40 years. He honorably and faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 9954.

He was so thankful for his devoted friends at the Victoria Church of the Nazarene, where he was a member, and where funeral services were held Tuesday, September 25, at 2 p.m. Interment in the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria.
