Cemeteries subject of meeting

Two requests to install cemeteries in Lunenburg are set to be the subject of two public hearings held by the Lunenburg County Board of Supervisors during a meeting Oct. 11.

The meeting is set to begin 6 p.m. at the Lunenburg Courthouse.

The first family cemetery, proposed by applicant Sylvester J. Holmes, would be located in the 2000 block of Old Mansion Road in Lunenburg. The land parcel consists of 15.29 acres, according to a public notice of the meeting.

The second family cemetery, proposed by applicant Dennis Jones, would be located on the 3000 block of Plank Road in the Town of Kenbridge. The land parcel consists of 33.10 acres.
