The varsity girls volleyball teams for Central High School and Kenston Forest School have been preparing for postseason matches being played this week.

As of Monday, the Lady Chargers (7-11) were still waiting to find out for sure who they were playing against next and where, but they knew it would be at 6 p.m. Thursday.

The No. 4 Lady Kavaliers (9-18) hosted Southampton Academy on Tuesday in the Virginia Colonial Conference (VCC) tournament.

With a win, they would advance to Thursday’s VCC semifinals held at Kenston Forest at 5 and 7 p.m. The VCC final is Saturday at 2 p.m.
