Kenston Forest JV girls volleyball team repeats as VCC tourney champs

The Kenston Forest School junior varsity (JV) girls volleyball team won the Virginia Colonial Conference (VCC) Tournament for the second consecutive year. The Lady Kavaliers also share the title of 2018 VCC Regular Season Champion with Brunswick Academy and Southampton Academy. No. 2 Kenston Forest began play in the VCC Tournament on Oct. 31, defeating visiting No. 3 Southampton Academy 2-0 in the semifinals. On Saturday at Kenston Forest, the Lady Kavs defeated No. 1 Brunswick Academy 2-0 (25-4, 26-24) to claim the tourney title. Kenston Forest’s final overall record for the 2018 season was 20-2, including 10-2 in the VCC.
