Carrie Lea Clevinger of Victoria, VA, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018, at the age of 83. Carrie Lea was born May 22, 1935 in Ashe County, NC to the late Treely and Myrtle Roark. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Earl Clevinger; daughter, Barbara Bridges; brothers, Fred, Bruce and Kenneth Roark; sisters, Virgie Osborne, Earleen Walsh and Eva Sue Osborne.

Carrie Lea was a caring and loving mother and is survived by her children, Janet Fisher (E.B.), Rodney Clevinger (Cindy), Tony Clevinger (Nancy), Tina Chase (Tommy), and Hope Clevinger (Alan); nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 30, in the chapel at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia. Instead of flowers, please make donations to the Nottoway County Emergency Squad, P. O. Box 453, Crewe, VA 23930.
