Central High School’s varsity football team had strong representation with the announcement of the 2018 All-Region 1B honorees, while four Chargers also received 2018 All-James River District honors.

Chargers making the all-region first team included junior T’zion Wilkerson, senior Jackson Dalton, senior Trey Patterson and junior Shammond Sellers.

Central senior Dawson Bishop, junior Kawonte Ragsdale, senior Geontra Ragsdale, Dalton, senior Earl Ginn, senior Garrett Williams, junior Jonathan Hatchett and junior Khalil Wood made the all-region second team.

Chargers making the all-district first team included Wilkerson, Kawonte Ragsdale and Williams.

Dalton made the all-district second team.
