Kenston Forest School’s varsity boys basketball team lost 60- 37 to visiting Richmond Christian School on Friday and 58-27 to visiting Fuqua School on Thursday after a long winter break.

Reflecting on Friday’s game, Kavaliers Head Coach Rachel Bartasavich said, “I didn’t feel great about it. We’re struggling when it comes to rebounding, second-chance opportunities. It’s a young team, so it’s a learning curve of what I expect …”

She noted the team is also limited by injuries at the moment. Kenny Underwood is expected back in the next game, and he should help with rebounding.

Kenston Forest took a record of 3-6 into its road game Tuesday against Southampton Academy.

Bartasavich said her team had a three-and-a-half week break, “but they’re getting their legs underneath them, so I think it’s going to be a good second half (of the season).”
