Up to two-tenths of an inch of ice is being forecast for Central Virginia due to the winter storm approaching this weekend. Farmville could see approximately 0.12 of an inch of ice, and South Hill could see approximately 0.09 of an inch.

The worst of the snow, possibly mixed with sleet and freezing rain, is set to come Saturday night and last into Sunday.

A winter storm watch remains in effect for the area, lasting until midnight on Sunday.

Probabilistic snowfall readings for Buckingham, Cumberland and Prince Edward indicate that the counties could see anywhere from 3-6 inches of snow.
