Our conscience

One night while laying in bed I could not sleep because my conscience kept saying, “Mary did you make Jesus proud today or did you do as you wish?” I began to think of the choices that I made that day and whether it reflected His love.

Our life is constantly on display, someone is always watching to see if we are who we say we are or does it tell a different story. I always say, “Lord, I try to do the best that I can to bring someone to you by letting my life speak for me.”

Jesus, we need you every hour to help keep the devil out of our lives. All the devil needs is for us to let down our guards for an instant and he is there to do harm. He is so swift that he can move before we can catch our breaths or realize what has happened. Remember, what the devil does for harm Jesus can turn it around for our good.

Jesus many promises consist of Healing, Love, Forgiveness, Protection, Everlasting Life, Power, Redemption, Chosen One, Victory, Worthy, Righteousness, Faith and many more when we become a member of His family. Jesus is constantly telling and showing us His love.

Here are a few of His promises:

Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me and those that seek me early shall find me.

Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Exodus 14:14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto thee.

I hope you enjoy these scriptures and find peace in them. Remember we are children of the living God and our lives must reflect who we are. We make mistakes every day because we are human but when we fall, brush yourself off and try again. Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
