Hostesses at the March meeting of the William Taylor Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution are shown here welcoming members to the Rosewood Tearoom at Lunenburg Courthouse. Pictured are, from left, Shelia Amos, Diane Clark and Diana Clement, all of Victoria. Members learned the art and enjoyment of classic British afternoon tea, served by proprietor Paul Davies and featuring tiered serving platters of tasty items prepared by Paul’s wife Kathy. Scones, tea sandwiches, savories and desserts were accompanied by specialty hot teas selected to complement each course. The menu for March had a decided Irish flare in keeping with St. Patrick’s Day. The tearoom, located in a historic house built in the 1790s, was the perfect setting for the event.
